He then changed his name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, dropping the “Musk” from the end, saying they didn’t want anything to do with his dad, Elon Musk. The billionaire had a lot to say about the conflict in a recent interview.
On July 23, the Daily Wire published an interview between Musk and Dr. Jordan Peterson, a conservative psychologist. The Tesla founder claimed his son was “killed” by “the woke mind virus.” He also alleged he was “tricked into signing documents” allowing his son to receive gender-affirming care because he didn’t understand what was happening, and it was during the national health crisis. Musk claimed he was told Xavier “might commit suicide” if he didn’t allow it.
“I was tricked into doing this,” the businessman said. “I lost my son, essentially.”
